Lease Contract Information

Interested Lessee

The Hall Lease Contract must be returned with signed agreement and a minimum deposit of $500.00 within 10 days of your request to secure the date of your event.

 

The total cost of a two day lease is $900.00 plus a $100.00 refundable security fee.

The total cost of a one day lease from 8:00am to 12:00am (midnight) is $550.00 plus a $100.00 refundable security fee.

Our Commercial Kitchen (without a Hall Lease) is available for leasing to licensed caterers for $200/day (12 hours) We have a gas stove, 2 ovens, grill, prep tables, refrigerator, and 2 sinks with room for staff to move!

 

Hall Management staff will contact you when your Hall Lease Contract/Date has been approved.

Lease Contract

  1. Minnette Mills Dick Memorial Hall 2000 Hambrooks Blvd. Cambridge Maryland Two Day Lease Agreement is $1,000.00 which includes $100.00 refundable security fee & $500.00 non-refundable deposit that secures the hall for your event date/time, tables & chairs, kitchen facilities, and parking lot.

  2. The balance is due 30 days prior to your event.

  3. Lessee will be provided access to and use of the Hall 24 hours prior to the event. (Parking is not permitted on the grass.) Lessee event must end by or before 11:00pm on contracted date.

  4. The Hall’s maximum capacity is 300 people per Fire Code Regulations; the lessee is required to provide the Hall Management with the number of attendants at their event.

  5. Hall lease does not include event set up/clean up, dishes/utensils, sound systems, decorations, or security. St. Mary’s Refuge of Sinners Catholic Church/ Minnette Mills Dick Memorial Hall is not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged items during the lessee rental period.

  6. By law the lessee must provide a temporary food service permit or licensed caterer if serving food; alcoholic beverages cannot be sold on the Hall property without a Dorchester County Maryland Liquor License.

  7. The lessee is responsible for returning the hall to its original condition before leaving the premises at the end of the event as discussed with the Hall Management, which will include/but not limited to restacking tables & chairs neatly/orderly, clean up/disposal of all trash, and return facility key. 

  8. Lessee $100 Security Deposit Refund will be mailed to the contact information below within 10 days after the event, if the Hall condition has been approved by the Hall Management. Additionally, the lessee will be responsible for all damage that may occur during the event.
